Controller

National ID Center is the controller for the processing of personal data. EFAKTOR AS, which operates and maintains the learning platform (Moodle), is the data processor. National ID Center and EFAKTOR AS have entered into a data processing agreement.

Personal data we process

We process the personal data you provide (name, email address, telephone number, place of work/job role), overview of course certificates and course and grade history and IP address. The purpose of the processing is to offer you training and document completed training, issue course certificates and receive evaluation afterwards. Personal data is collected when you register on the portal (www.nidsenter.no), update your own profile and complete a course.

Registering with the necessary personal data is a prerequisite for creating a user as a course participant. We further process the personal data in order to be able to keep anonymized user statistics. The statistics help us see how many users, and what types of user groups, use and complete our courses. In addition, we use statistics to evaluate the use of the portal and the quality of the training resources.

We will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose personal data to others. Course managers at the National ID Center only have access to the personal data associated with the course for which they are responsible. Only EFAKTOR AS, which operates the solution, and portal managers at the National ID Center have access to all personal data.

Your personal data is only processed within the EU/EEA area.

Legal basis

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data (email address, place of work/job role as well as an overview of course certificates and course and grade history and IP address), which applies to courses and training services, is consent, cf. Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Storage and deletion of personal data

We delete your personal data in accordance with the data protection rules for deletion. This means that we delete your personal data when it is no longer necessary to store the data to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected.

Your rights

Your rights include the right to:

  • information about how we process your personal data
  • to request access to your personal data
  • to request that your personal data be corrected or deleted
  • data portability
  • to object to automated decisions, including profiling
  • to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority

If you have any questions about how we process your personal data and wish to exercise your rights, you can contact ID-skolen at eirik.killingdalen@nidsenter.no

Security measures

Satisfactory technical, physical and organizational security measures have been implemented to protect personal data covered by the data processing agreement against unauthorized or unlawful access, alteration, deletion, damage, loss or unavailability.
